QHSE – Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection
At IVT, we want our employees to return home safely and in good health. This applies to every workplace and operational area, including all employees of external companies working for us.
Therefore: No compromises when it comes to occupational safety and health. This is our commitment.
We commit to this standard every day. Therefore, we work diligently on the continuous improvement of existing processes. Our employees are involved in these processes through training and instructions, which helps strengthen awareness, motivation, and personal responsibility.
Just as we hold high standards for occupational safety, we also set the same high expectations for the quality of our work and the products we manufacture for our customers. Our goal is to deliver flawless products at fair prices.
Of course, the environment must not be harmed. All processes take into account the necessary environmental aspects that may impact waste, emissions, noise, wastewater, or energy consumption.
Our certified management systems according to DIN EN ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 are audited annually by TÜV Nord Cert and checked for effectiveness.
PDCA Cycle
Our management systems are based on the four-phase principle PLAN – DO – CHECK – ACT and follow the concept of a continuous improvement process.
Plan/Planning: This means that everyone should know what needs to be done.
We identify and assess risks and opportunities to establish the necessary goals and processes to achieve results in alignment with our company’s policies and the organization’s objectives.
Do/Doing: This means implementing the previously planned goals and processes. It is important that all employees work together as a team, from management to leaders, safety experts, works councils, company doctors, and, last but not least, all employees.
Check/Checking: This means systematically verifying whether the planned goals and processes have been achieved. We review and measure at appropriate intervals and report the results.
Act/Improvement: This describes the corrective process based on the findings from the “CHECK” phase, to take actions for the continuous improvement of the SGA (Safety, Health, and Environmental) performance in order to achieve the intended results. Insights gained from accident and health risks, changed customer requirements, and feedback from employees play a particularly important role in this process.
