Climate Protection and Sustainability Strategy of IVT
With the reporting on the National Action Plan for Business and Human Rights, IVT Weiner + Reimann GmbH has created and published its DNK declaration according to the 20 DNK criteria.
We voluntarily conducted the reporting and aim to contribute to the improvement of human rights conditions along global supply and value chains.
In this context, we have described our own guiding principles and leadership principles, which we follow and which are binding for all employees. We also involve our suppliers on this matter and therefore expect the acceptance of our code of conduct through our sustainability guidelines for suppliers.

Our sustainability strategy includes the sustainable sourcing of raw materials, active climate and resource protection, an attractive work environment, and social engagement.
Materiality

Our competitive environment is becoming increasingly dynamic and differentiated, which constantly presents us with new challenges. We view this as an opportunity to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.

We have derived medium- and long-term goals from our strategy. These include sustainable supplier management, environmental protection related to production, and ensuring future competitiveness for subsequent generations.
Depth of the value chain

Our value chain includes long-standing suppliers, primarily from the region. This allows us to ensure that EU standards regarding labor rights and environmental sustainability are largely adhered to.
Responsibility

The central responsibility for sustainability topics lies with the management. The management has appointed a sustainability team that coordinates the CMS and sustainability processes.

Using performance indicators and a key figure system, we monitor whether we are meeting our sustainability goals.

The sustainable and careful use of resources is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. Waste is avoided as much as possible, and energy consumption is minimized wherever possible.

We are working on the continuous reduction of energy consumption. Additional photovoltaic systems are currently being planned.
Climate-relevant Emissions

We have determined our CO2 balance using a carbon footprint. This is updated annually to assess and manage our CO2 emissions.
Labor Rights

We comply with all national regulations regarding labor rights. This is also guaranteed by the works council.

We do not engage in any attempts at political influence. We do not make contributions to political parties, politicians, or other political organizations.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations

We do not tolerate any form of corruption or bribery within the framework of our compliance guidelines. An internal reporting office has been established in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act.
CO2 Footprint of IVT
We have measured our CO2 balance according to the Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) methodology, based on the emission sources of Scope 1, 2, and 3.
Every company should know its CO2 footprint. The CO2 footprint is the key metric of the future. Only by knowing your CO2 footprint can you set goals towards climate neutrality.
IVT Weiner + Reimann GmbH has made it its mission to be climate-neutral by 2050 at the latest. To achieve this goal, all employees are encouraged to actively participate in this process.
